The Southampton Village Code of Ethics provides standards of conduct for Village officers and employees. The Ethics Board serves to promote public confidence in government by ensuring compliance with those provisions.
The Board investigates all complaints received; issues advisory opinions where sought; coordinates ethics training for Village officers and employees; and reviews required Annual Financial Disclosures.
The work of the Ethics Board is CONFIDENTIAL unless exempted under New York State Law or Southampton Village Code.
