[ARCHIVED] NARCAN Training hosted by the Fire Department 11.30.2022

NARCAN Flyer 11.30.2022

Please join the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, Legislator Bridget Fleming, The Southampton Village Fire Department, and David Falkowski of Open-Minded Organics (OMO) for this potentially life altering free community event.

Every day at least one Long Islander dies from an opiate overdose. Overdoses can happen to anyone, and according to the NYSDOH, an overwhelming majority of these deaths involve fentanyl.

Our goal as "We Stand Aware" is to educate and empower deeper into our diverse workforce here on the East End.

Together we will learn:

The Signs of an opiate overdose

How to reverse an overdose

About new treatment approaches

Narcan Kits will be available for those who complete the training.
