UPDATE: As of July 14th, 4x4 access to Road F & Jim Aery Way, the "Picnic Area", Halsey Beach & Fowler’s Beach, are closed due to the Piping Plovers & in accordance with the US Fish & Wildlife Services & NY State Department of Environmental Conservation.
- The Board of Trustees has issued a temporary suspension of Village Code §86-14 regarding parking at the heliport parking area and to ALLOW VEHICLES WITH EITHER A VILLAGE RESIDENT BEACH PERMIT OR VILLAGE & TOWN 4x4 PERMIT TO PARK IN THE HELIPAD PARKING LOT, EFFECTIVE JUNE 25, 2020 through SEPTEMBER 30, 2020, unless rescinded earlier by Village Board Resolution.
- Dogs shall not be allowed on the beach!
