Any patient receiving a test as a “walk in” will be charged out of pocket on site. We accept Venmo, Cash or Credit Card for payment.
Once directed to the site, you will have to complete a patient intake form. If you are using insurance, you must submit a copy of your insurance card. Everyone must put a credit card on file to hold their appointment. If you submitted insurance, health rover will update you once your insurance has been accepted (please note this does not happen immediately). If accepted, you will then receive confirmation of your appointment.
Insurance:
Health rover accepts only the following insurance's :
Medicare, Empire Gov't Plan (for NYS employees), GHI, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO (no primary care needed), United Health Care (no primary care needed), Oscar, Cigna, Aetna (no primary care needed), Oxford (no primary care needed).
Testing + Cost (Please Read):
On-site, they provide 20-minute rapid antigen testing and same day RT-PCR testing.
They charge $170 out of pocket per antigen test.
Rapid RT-PCR tests are NOT covered by insurance and must be paid for on-site. We charge $250 per RT-PCR test. Patient results are sent automatically via text and email shortly after your test. Health Rover will email you a test report and a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. They DO NOT guarantee that your insurance will reimburse you for your PCR test.
